Madame Figaro. -What motivated you to become the godmother of Vaincre La Mucoviscidose Association? ?
Zaho de Sagazan. –For years I watched as my cousin battled this nasty disease that decided to attack her children. He rallied hundreds of people, drove miles and wrote a book to raise awareness of this rare genetic disease. Today, I support this struggle at my level, being one of the sponsors of this association. He fights every day to help sick people, their families, but also to fund research.

In your album, you are not afraid to talk about obsessions, addictions and relationships with the body. Is psychology a subject that interests you?
I have always been interested in the complexity of the brain. With the intention of also shaming and hiding everything that our society considers fragile. We often fall into the trap of a perfect image, which is false and, above all, unforgivably boring. My generation is much more vocal about their flaws and less prone to withdrawing into themselves. That’s fine, but that being said, we have to find a way to not pour out all our emotions too much on social media, because it can sometimes turn into melodrama.

My personality ?
I am a hard worker and a perfectionist. I’m sunny, but I also like drama. I write in the dark, with my eyes closed. I’ve always been very, very, sensitive, and as a teenager I hated feeling things too sharp. I was often overwhelmed by waves of emotions that I couldn’t make sense of. Writing songs allowed me to channel them. My piano became a kind of psychologist and by putting notes and words to what I felt, I was able to sort out this decline.

In lure mode or fighter mode ?
Certainly not in temptation, I wouldn’t be able to even if I wanted to. Rather in warrior mode, especially to protect topics that are important to me. For example, telling people of my generation how important it is to have patience and discipline when you want to express an artistic thought. You don’t become an artist in a few months.

Perfect outfit for an interview Comfort or dressy?
Simple, sporty and devoid of ostentatious details. But I’m also learning to be bold, to dress more sophisticated, which I used to think was a waste of time. I was so focused on inspecting the interior that I didn’t realize what great artists the modelers could be. They sometimes reveal depth through clothing.

The question I don’t answer ?
Nobody. I come from a family that practices the art of dialectic from morning to night like a ping-pong match. I’m not afraid to look for the answer to a question because I spend my days asking myself questions, pushing myself, and wanting to complete the task.

My current mental workload ?
There’s also a crazy side to what’s happening to me. I was far from imagining it all. Now I especially think about concerts: touring, making people smile and singing my songs is a blessing. It is also discipline. I don’t have the same life as I used to, I work a lot and have little time to party because it’s a sports job.
