Dan Schneider sues producers of Nickelodeon documentary

On MAX since last month, “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Children’s TV” denounces inappropriate and criminal behavior behind the scenes at Nickelodeon

After the repercussion of the allegations seen in the documentary series “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Children’s TV”, which reveals the behind-the-scenes of popular children’s and youth programs shown on TV during the 1990s and early 2000s, the producer Dan Schneider (Drake & Josh), decided to sue the production’s producers, claiming that the exposed content appeared as an attempt to “destroy the legacy and reputation” he had built.

In the four episodes of the documentary, reports from former cast members and their families, as well as crew members from popular series in the past decades, denounce crimes and inappropriate working conditions for children, among these, statements and images that imply what Schneider created a hostile environment for employees, as well as placing suggestively sexual content in series created for Nickelodeon.
