Dahyun will be the first TWICE member to make her acting debut! The idol will be in the cast of an independent feature film titled “Sprint”, where she will star alongside the actors Ha Seok Jin (The Devil’s Game) and Lee Shin (Captivating the King).
The information was confirmed by the agency that manages the artist and group’s career, JYP Entertainment, after the Sports DongA portal revealed the lineup of Dahyun.
She has been cast in the project and is preparing for filming,” said an agency representative (via Soompi).
“Sprint” is a film, directed by the director Lee Seung Hoon (The King and the Clown), which will follow the story of Kang Goo Young (Ha Seok Jin), an athlete who broke the Korean 100 meter record for the first time in 30 years, but is not satisfied with his life.
According to the Soompi portal, the plot is inspired by the real life of Kim Kuk Young, an athlete who won the bronze medal for the first time in 37 years in the 400 meter relay. The role of Dahyun has not been revealed, Lee ShinYoung will bring sprinter Seung Yeol to life.
In the meantime, it is worth remembering that Dahyun is also committed to TWICE for the release of the group’s fifth Japanese album, ‘DIVE’, which is scheduled to be released on August 17th this year.
