In the midst of the HYBE X ADOR case, the CEO of ADOR, Min Hee Jinrevealed behind-the-scenes details of NewJeans’ debut, stating that the reason the group debuted without first being promoted was another formation belonging to the conglomerate: LE SSERAFIM.
The revelation occurred during an emergency press conference held this Thursday, 25th, where Min Hee Jin clarified that he received orders not to release any promotional material about the debut of NewJeans as a strategy for the debut of LE SSERAFIM.
This is because, when Min Hee Jin was named as the person responsible for debuting the new HYBE girl group that would debut under the management of Source Music, there was a lot of expectation for the launch, which, initially, would be NewJeans, having Minji as the first member.
