BBGIRLS announces new company and Youjoung’s departure from the group

This Monday, the 22nd, BBGIRLS ended its exclusive contract with Warner Music Korea, the company that managed the band’s promotional activities a year ago. Hello, this is Warner Music Korea.

We would like to make an official statement regarding the contract with our artist, BBGIRLS. After long and sufficient discussions on future activities, both Warner Music Korea and artist BBGIRLS have mutually agreed to respect each other’s opinions and terminate the exclusive contract upon its expiration after one year.

We would like to express our deep gratitude to BBGIRLS members Minyoung, Youjoung, Eunji, and Yuna for their efforts and dedication in being with us as Warner Music artists. Warner Music Korea will sincerely support and wish the best for BBGIRLS’ future steps. We would also like to thank all the BBee fans who have shown great support throughout our journey together.

We ask for your continued love and encouragement for the future activities of BBGIRLS.

Later, BBGIRLS confirmed the dissolution of the contract by stating, through an official statement, that the group plans to start a new journey at BBGIRLS Company, a company that will be managed by GLG, the corporation that is behind the careers of artists such as H1-KEY It is Stella Jang.

The new phase of formation will have one less member, as Youjoung will end his activities as a member of the group. This way, BBGIRLS will only be formed by Minyoung, Eunji It is Yuna.
