The former Frero DeLaVega member has revealed her split with the ex-pro swimmer in her new single titled: Farewell. The couple got married in May 2018 and had two children.
After six years of marriage, Laure Manodou and Jeremy Frero announced their separation. The news was revealed in columns parisian on the occasion of the release of the singer’s new single, called Farewell . The former member of Frero DeLaVega confides the outlines of his split with the former top-level swimmer and mother of his two children. “It came from the gut,” the musician explained to the daily, returning to the inspiration for his new song and other beliefs he has placed in music.
Jeremy Frero saw it as a way to do his own therapy, he adds. Because the 34-year-old artist decided to stay in good relations with his ex-wife for their sake, but also for the sake of their children. “It is certain that the team should organize itself, become a family without living there. Mom and Dad are going to be friends, that doesn’t mean it’s over,” she says in one segment. And he added to the newspaper: “It’s hard to break up, at the third whistle you feel the disappointment, the defeat, it’s so easy to get sad.”

Wedding in Landers
The couple met in 2015 during a Frero DeLaVega concert in Paris. At the time, the swimmer had just split from Frédéric Bousquet, the father of her first daughter, Manon (13). Alchemy took place in the dressing rooms at the end of the show. After several months of low-key dating, they finally went public with their union before officially tying the knot in a ceremony held in Landers on May 12, 2018. Their love gave birth to two sons, Louis, in 2017 and his younger brother. in 2021, whose name has never been revealed.
