In the new episode of the podcast “Wizards Pod”, an actor from the series revealed a struggle he had with Selena Gomez; know more!
This past Monday, the 15th, the 49th episode of ‘Wizards Pod’ came out, a podcast presented by Jennifer Stone It is David DeLuisestars of the renowned Disney Channel series “Wizards of Waverly Place”, where they recall memorable moments from the channel alongside guests.
This time, the special appearance of the week was the actor Daniel Samonasresponsible for playing the character Dean Moriarty, one of Alex Russo’s boyfriends (Selena Gomez) on the Serie. In the chat, the star commented a little more about his time in production, including a curious problem related to his first kiss with Selena Gomez— in this case, the first kiss between Dean and Alex.
When recording the couple’s first kiss on screen, the actor revealed that no one taught him what a “Disney kiss” was, so he ended up kissing Selena as if they were on a date, shocking everyone in the studio — including the actress’ boyfriend at the time, who was present at the recording.
“At the time she was dating Nick Jonas and he was on the set too, when the director shouted ‘1, 2,3 action’ I went there and kissed as if I were on a date, they immediately shouted ‘cut’ and I was pulled away. Selena stayed shocked because I did it wrong and they said ‘That’s not how we do it in this series'”, concluded the actor.
”Wizards of Waverly Place” was broadcast between 2007 and 2012 on Disney Channel, being one of the channel’s biggest hits. The production was a phenomenon, producing two films: “Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie” (2009) and “Alex Vs Alex” (2013).
Starring Selena Gomez, the series is available in Brazil through the Disney+ streaming service. In addition, the feature film “Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie”, from 2009, is also on the platform.
