Last Tuesday, the 10th, Warner Bros. Pictures released the first full trailer for “Joker: Delirium in Two”, a new feature film with Joaquin Phoenix in the main role, in addition to the participation of the singer Lady Gaga bringing Harley Quinn to life.
The preview presents the first meeting between Joker and Harley Quinn, as well as the beginning of the toxic relationship between one of the most striking duos in comics. Watch!

Cast
The main protagonists of the film will be Joaquin Phoenixwho returns to the role of Arthur Fleck, the Joker, and the singer Lady Gagawhich will give life to Dr. Harleen Quintal, a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum who, in the future, will become Harley Quinn.
In addition to them, the following names are also confirmed in the film: Robert De Niro (Killers of the Flower Moon), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Brendan Gleeson (The Banshees of Inisherin), Catherine Keener (Run!) and Jaco Lofland (Maze Runner).
Direction
In addition to the return of Phoenix for the main role, “Joker 2” will also feature another great return: the director Todd Phillipswho directed the first film, receiving numerous critical acclaim, has confirmed his return.
Parental rating
As reported by Deadline, in the United States, the film was considered banned for children under 16 due to strong scenes of violence, adult language and brief full-body nudity. The indicative rating in Brazil has not yet been confirmed.
Is the film a musical?
During the 2023 Venice Film Festival, in a press conference (via Rolling Stone Brasil), Hildur Guðnadóttircomposer of the film’s soundtrack, stated, without giving many details, that the production will feature a lot of music.
In the same year, in an interview with Variety, the actress Zazie Beetzwho plays Sophie Dumond, said that the public will be surprised by the relationship that the film will have with music: “I think people will be surprised. I don’t think it will be what they expect, in terms of it being musical. We all we express ourselves musically and dance in our everyday lives. I think it will work really well.”
Rolling Stone in the United States also reveals that industry insiders confirmed that “Delírio à Dois” will feature new versions of 15 well-known songs, as well as two new numbers. The information, however, has not yet been confirmed.
Premiere date
In Brazil, “Joker: Delirium à Two” is scheduled to premiere in cinemas across the country on October 3, 2024.
