After a few months of serious and regular running, you feel like you’re not making any more progress. A phase many runners go through. It turns out that a few tips can improve your technique and therefore your running, says athletic trainer Lucille Woodward. Stop wanting to add miles
First, the coach advises you to stop wanting to increase the number of kilometers during your outings too quickly and instead recommends running less, but more often. “When you start running, 30 or 40 minutes at a time is too much,” Lucille Woodward reports. When you only run once a week, the muscles aren’t used often enough to adjust quickly.”
