Before going to Cha Eunwoo’s first concert in Brazil, find out more about all the members of ASTRO, Fantagio’s boy group
On February 26, 2016, Fantagio Entertainment launched its newest boy group, ASTRO. Composed of six members, MJ, JinJin, Cha Eunwoo, Moonbin, Rocky It is Sanhathe group debuted with the album “Spring Up”, accompanied by a colorful video for the title track “HIDE&SEEK”.
Last week, producer GIG Music confirmed that Cha Eunwoo will come to Brazil for the first time, to perform a unique show on June 1st, in São Paulo, at the Vibra São Paulo concert hall. Tickets are currently sold out. However, according to information from the journalist José Norberto Flescha second date would be being negotiated.

MJ
Kim MyungjunO MJ, was born on March 5, 1994 in Suwon, South Korea, making him the oldest member of ASTRO. Before joining Fantagio, the main vocalist even auditioned for JYP Entertainment, but was not approved. Furthermore, he was the first member of the group to begin mandatory military service, enlisting on May 9, 2022, and being discharged on November 8, 2023.
JinJin
ASTRO’s leader and main rapper is Park JinwooO JinJinborn on March 15, 1996 in Ilsan, South Korea. Before becoming a trainee, JinJin attended the NY Dance Academy in her hometown, where she honed her dancing skills. In addition to rapping, singing and dancing, the idol is a great drummer and actor, having performed in some musicals. In 2022, JinJin debuted alongside Rocky in the group’s second sub-unit, called “JinJin & Rocky”.
Cha Eunwoo
Cha Eunwoo It is the look and face of the group. He was born on March 30, 1997 in Gunpo, South Korea with the name Lee Dongmin. In addition to singing, dancing and acting, he is also a multi-instrumentalist, knowing how to play instruments such as guitar, piano, flute and violin.
Moonbin
ASTRO’s main dancer, lead vocalist and center is Moon Bin. He was born on January 26, 1998 in Cheongju, South Korea, and also has a famous younger sister: Moon Sua, member of the girl group Billlie. When little, Bin became known after participating in the music video for TVXQ!’s song “Balloons”, bringing to life the younger version of the member U-Know (Yunho). In 2020, he debuted alongside Sanha in ASTRO’s first sub-unit, MOONBIN&SANHA. Moonbin passed away on April 19, 2023, aged 25. At his family’s request, his cause of death was not revealed.
Rocky (former member)
Park Minhyukbetter known as Rocky, was main dancer, lead rapper and vocalist for ASTRO. He was born on February 25, 1999 in Jinju, South Korea, and also has a famous younger brother: Jeonggeun, by HAWW. In February 2023, Fantagio announced that after many conversations, it was mutually decided that with the end of their contract, Rocky would be leaving the group and the company. He currently opened his own agency, ONE FINE DAY Entertainment, and made his debut as a soloist in November 2023 with the mini-album “ROCKYST”.
Sanha
ASTRO’s maknae and lead vocalist is Yoon Sanha, born on March 21, 2000, in Seoul, capital of South Korea. When he was younger, he attended the A-Sound Music Academy to take singing lessons, however, while he was there, he ended up learning to play the guitar in just eight months. When ASTRO was about to debut, Sanha He almost didn’t make the final line-up due to his size, however, as reported by Kprofiles, he had a growth spurt and managed to be included in the group.
