This Monday, April 1st, Big Planet Made Entertainment announced that Taemin, from SHINee, signed an exclusive contract with the agency. It is worth remembering that in March, after 16 years of partnership with SM Entertainment, the idol left the company with the end of his exclusive contract.
“We recently signed an exclusive contract with singer Taemin, who is unparalleled in his activities both as SHINee’s main dancer and as a solo artist. We will actively support Taemin’s wide range of activities in his music career and do our utmost to let him soar in wider places and in different directions. We ask that you give Taemin lots of support and love as he starts anew,” Big Planet Made Entertainment revealed in an official statement.
However, it was revealed by SM itself that the boy group SHINee’s activities will continue to be managed by the agency, without any changes. In this way, only activities as a soloist Taemin will be managed by Big Planet Made.
SHINee is the name of the boy group formed in 2008 through the agency SM Entertainment. It currently has 4 members, namely: Onew, Key, Minho It is Taemin. The group’s original lineup included Jonghyunwho passed away in 2017.
