‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ revival set to premiere later this year

Last Friday, the 22nd, Disney+ released the premiere date for the revival of ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’. Look!

The sequel to ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ was given the green light by Disney+ executives, and is expected to premiere by the end of this year in the United States. The information was confirmed last Friday, the 22nd, after the streaming company announced the revival’s premiere date via its official Instagram account.

Making magic, then and now! The new series of Wizards of Waverly Place is coming this fall!” reads the caption.

It is worth noting that, in the USA, autumn occurs between the months of September and November. This time, the series will focus on Justin (David Henrie) leading a simple life without magic, after an incident at WizTech. However, the situation changes when he meets a young sorceress who needs his help.

With Selena Gomez Bringing the iconic Alex Russo to life, ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ was broadcast between 2007 and 2012 on Disney Channel, being one of the channel’s biggest hits. The series produced two films: ‘Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie’ (2009) and ‘Alex Vs Alex’ (2013).

In Brazil, there is still no information about the premiere of the series revival. However, the series ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ and the 2009 film are available through the Disney+ streaming service.
