After the release of the new trailer for ‘Inside Out 2’, many fans believe that Anxiety could be the big villain of the plot
Last week, the Pixar released the newest trailer for “Inside Out 2”, sequel to the 2016 Oscar-winning “Best Animated Feature” film, where we will follow Riley celebrating her 13th birthday, which will entail a renovation in the control room for the arrival of new emotions. Look!
During the video, we have the opportunity to see the visuals of the newest emotions that will make up the film. Now, in addition to Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger and Disgust, we will also have Anxiety, Envy, Shame and Boredom.
Since the release of the preview, a new theory began to circulate among fans on social media: that the big villain of the sequel will be Ansiedade.
But why?
In the trailer, we see that Riley’s emotion control room undergoes major changes with the arrival of adolescence, leading to the introduction of new characters. Now, the girl’s mind becomes a mess due to the new challenges of this phase of life.
Concern about his future becomes the big problem presented in the preview. Therefore, at a certain point, Anxiety ends up trapping Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger and Disgust, causing her, alongside Envy, Shame and Boredom, to take over the control room, starting “Operation New Riley”. Now, Alegria and the other emotions will need to do everything to prevent Anxiety’s plan from coming true.

Anxiety being the villain of “Inside Out 2” was the best idea for the film.
After all, in real life, having anxiety is not a good thing. pic.twitter.com/DPTcPKriI3

I found it incredible that anxiety was the villain in the film Fun Mind 2, even because anxiety in our society is considered the evil of the century

the most bizarre:
I watched Inside Out when I was 8 years old, in which the “villain” is Sadness appearing in our lives right at the end of childhood, which is when children are really sad for the first time
and now I’m going to see the sequel at 17 years old, in which Anxiety is the “villain”, ehhh…… pic.twitter.com/9LsUJDEzsQ

Anxiety in real life
It is worth remembering that, as reported by the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein portal, anxiety is something normal for human beings, which arises mainly in moments of worry, major changes, fear or threat. However, she can become the villain in real life when symptoms intensify, directly affecting her quality of life and well-being.
According to the doctor Eric Marangonicognitive behavioral psychologist, in a statement to the Santa Mônica Hospital portal, in adolescents, anxiety disorders can be identified “in moments of transition for young people, when they are exposed to new people, places and situations not previously experienced”.
“Inside Out 2” is scheduled to premiere in theaters in June 2024.
