The seven-album singer will take the stage at the Olympia in Paris on March 18 for the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation’s 20th anniversary gala.

Why get involved with the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation?
This gala was initiated by Pierre Souchon after this terrible disease affected his grandmother. He decided to organize these concerts with great devotion and tact. Alzheimer’s is a particularly cruel disease because it feels like someone is coming to steal the brains and souls of the people we love. As an artist, I also have a responsibility to convey messages about what moves people. For example, in the past I thought it was important to share my experience with breast cancer.

A topic I want to talk about.
Breast cancer, right? There are many legends on the Internet and social networks surrounding this disease, for which I myself was treated four years ago. The exams are supposed to be dangerous because of the radiation, but the real danger is cancer. You are exposed to much more radiation when boarding a plane than during these exams. Therefore, I encourage women to undergo preventive examinations. Mammography can save life.
My news?
I’m writing new songs and I’m going to start touring. I had to stop the previous one because of Covid, and even if I have concerts every month, I miss the amount of touring, the sensations it gives.
