Diaz’s participation in the upcoming film will be her first role in a decade since 2014’s Annie.

American actress Cameron Diaz is back in movies after a 10-year hiatus. Deadline reported this.

The star is in talks to star in the Apple Original Films dark comedy “Exit.” The actress will star alongside Keanu Reeves and Jonah Hill, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Ezra Woods and directed the film.

After a long hiatus from acting, Get Out will be her first role since Sony’s Annie in 2014.

As for the new film, it tells the story of Reef, a corrupt Hollywood star who must turn to the dark depths of his past to face his demons and redeem himself after he asks for money in a mysterious music video.

No word yet on what character Cameron will play.

It was earlier reported that the Pixar studio showed the trailer for the cartoon “Inside Out 2” directed by Kelsey Mann.
