The first semi-final of Eurovision will take place on Tuesday 7 May, the second semi-final on Thursday 9 May and the grand final on Saturday 11 May 2024.
This year, the international song contest Eurovision 2024 will take place in the Swedish city of Malmö, so the organizers of the competition have said how they will welcome hundreds of thousands of Eurofans. This is stated on the official website.
The official fan zone, the Eurovision Village, is located in Folkets Park, accessible by public transport, bicycle or even on foot.
“We expect to welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors to Malmö to put together this collective celebration. It’s time to show how creative and determined our city is,” says Karin Karlsson, Managing Director of City Host Event .
For the entertainment of visitors, stationary stages and mobile platforms will be installed where artists of various genres will perform.
From 4 to 11 May the park will be a meeting place for Eurovision fans to share their common passion.
In addition, several areas for activities and communication are available. The park’s cultural and gastronomic establishments will have their own programs and contribute to the overall atmosphere. In addition to Eurovision Town, fans of the annual show will find an entire street dedicated to the competition.
“Walking along this street will give you the opportunity to witness musical surprises and taste the delicacies of our city and the cuisine of the world,” the website announced.
One of the main locations of Eurovision 2024 is the Malmö Live congress and concert hall. There will be an opening ceremony and a grand final, which will determine who wins the competition.
