BLACKPINK’s Jennie achieves single record as a soloist on Billboard

With ‘One of the Girls’, a partnership with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, Jennie, from BLAKCPINK, achieved a new position on the Billboard Hot 100

BLACKPINK’s Jennie continues to make history with ‘One of the Girls’, a partnership with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp. On February 13, Billboard revealed that the hit had broken its own record (again) for the most successful song by a female K-Pop soloist on the Hot 100.

This week, ‘One of the Girls’ rose to position 57. It’s worth remembering that, over the last few days, the song rose from position 69 to 61, then to 58 and has now reached 57th place on the chart! Even though it was released in June 2023, the single continues to grow.

With this new ‘One of the Girls’ position, Jennie became the first female K-Pop soloist in history to keep a song for seven weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. The hit is part of the soundtrack for the series ‘The Idol’, where Jennie plays Dyanneone of the villains of the production.

In addition to Jennie, the cast of ‘The Idol’ includes Lily-Rose Depp, The Weeknd, Troye Sivan, Rachel Sennott, Jane Adams and much more! The series was canceled in the first season, however, it is available complete and dubbed through the HBO Max streaming service.
