The 76th Directors Guild of America Awards for Outstanding Directorial Achievement were held on the evening of February 11 in Los Angeles.

After the victory, Mstislav made his speech in which he mentioned the daily shelling of Ukraine. In particular, about the enemy attack on Kharkov, which took place on February 9.
“Today my town in Kharkov was attacked. Seven people were killed, including three children. So this is a sad day. I am very aware of the power of the cinema, standing here and looking at you. Because when these children, these people tried. to escape from the shelling into shelter “To cope with the fear, they watch movies. I want to thank you for this recognition. Although, unfortunately, thanks to this, you cannot stop a bullet or protect a child from debris,” said the director.
