The drama follows Queen Maxima’s upbringing in Argentina and how a chance meeting with King Willem-Alexander changes the course of her life forever.

Dutch streamer Videoland has released the first trailer for a series about the life of Queen Maxima of the Netherlands. The Daily Mail reported this.

It recreates her first meeting with King Willem-Alexander during a fair in Seville in 1999, and interweaves the event with the couple’s ups and downs, including meeting her future mother-in-law, Beatrix of the Netherlands and Claus von Amsberg, and interact.

The series will also tell why Maxima’s father was not allowed to attend the wedding: because of his political past.

It is known that the six-episode series will be released on April 20.

It was previously reported that Netflix has published the first footage from the upcoming film Scoop about British Prince Andrew.

A series about Queen Margrethe II will be filmed in Denmark
