A crew member working on the Marvel television series Wonder Man dies in an accident. It is reported by different types.
The Los Angeles County coroner identified the dead crew member as 41-year-old rigger Juan Carlos Osorio. A man died after falling from the rafters Tuesday morning.
At the time of the tragedy, Wonder Man was not filming, and after the accident, the team stopped working on the series for a day. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
“Our thoughts are with his family and his friends and we express our deepest condolences. We are giving our full support to the investigation into the circumstances of this accident,” a Marvel spokesperson said in a statement.
A premiere date for Wonder Man has yet to be determined; the series will debut on the Disney+ platform.
The series follows Simon Williams, the son of a wealthy industrialist, whose company Williams Innovations goes out of business due to competition from Stark Industries. In desperation, Simon turns to Baron Zemo, who grants him superpowers and tasks him with infiltrating the Avengers and then betraying them. Williams succeeds, and he becomes one of the leaders in the superhero team.
Alec Baldwin was previously reported not guilty of murdering Ukrainian cameraman Galina Gutchins while filming Rust.
