In 2020, it was announced that the pilot episode for the live-action series of “The Powerpuff Girls” was being produced. However, the project was canceled some time later. But, Diablo Codyartistic name of Brook Maurioco-writer of the production, spoke about it in a recent interview.

When asked about the possible leaked script, Cody He stated that he did not know what happened. However, she said it could just be the initial version of the story. Since its announcement, the live-action has gone through several difficulties, after the pilot was rejected, Chloe Bennetwho would play Florzinha, left the cast.
