The video combines footage from live performances with animated psychedelic visuals.
“The clip delves into the subconscious of a boy who stares down the monsters of his dark childhood memories, blurring worlds in the process,” the release said.
Between neon nightmarish visions of the city at night, the video alternates with live shots of the band on stage, projections of skeletons flashing across vocalist Axl Rose’s face, and characters formed by artificial intelligence becomes band members.
“The result is unlike anything the band has done before and continues GUNS N’ ROSES’ long and storied tradition of bold visual choices,” Billboard wrote.
