ATTENTION BABYMONSTER FANS! Taking everyone by surprise, YG Entertainment released this Wednesday, the 24th, a video of Yang Hyun Sukproducer and founder of the company, announcing that member Ahyeon will finally join the group in the group’s next comeback.
Second Hyun Sukthe idol has now completely recovered, and will have her official debut with the release of her first mini-album BABYMONSTERscheduled to be released on April 1st.
It is worth remembering that, on the first day of February, the girl group will also release the pre-release track “Stuck In The Middle”, which does not feature the participation of Ahyeon. However, the producer revealed that fans need not worry, as both the new release and the debut song “BATTER UP” will be re-recorded with all seven members.

In November 2023, a week before BABYMONSTER’s official debut, YG Entertainment issued a statement announcing that Ahyeon could not debut with the other members of the group, for health reasons.
“BABYMONSTER will debut as a group of six members as Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Haram, Rora and Chiquita. After careful discussion, it was decided that Ahyeon, who prepared together [com BABYMONSTER]will focus on resting for now for health reasons.
Although we are sad that we cannot introduce Ahyeon as a member of BABYMONSTER, we made this decision because of the artist’s health. We will spare no support so that Ahyeon can fully recover and return in good health.”, said the company in a statement (via Soompi).
Thus, the girl group debuted on November 26, 2023 with just six members: Ruka, Pharita, Wing, Haram, Rora It is Chiquita. Remember the video for “BATTER UP”!
