IU releases music video for ‘Love Wins All’ with cameo from BTS’s V

IU’s pre-release single ‘Love Wins All’ features the idol and BTS’s V as a couple of survivors; check out the MV!

Have you ever imagined seeing UI It is Vof BTS, together as a couple of survivors in a post-apocalyptic future? That’s what happens in the MV for “Love Wins All”, the pre-release single from the South Korean artist’s new album, released this Wednesday, the 24th. Check it out!

It is worth remembering that “Love Wins All” was not the initial title of the song, which had been titled “Love Wins”. The change was communicated by the agency responsible for managing the idol’s career, EDAM Entertainment, which revealed through a statement (via Soompi) that the change was made in order to “respect and support everyone who loves in their different ways”. Read:

This is EDAM Entertainment.

We would like to inform you that the title of IU’s pre-release song, which will be released on January 24th at 6pm, has been changed to since today.

We decided to change the title to respect and support everyone who loves in many ways, and we accept the opinions of those who express concerns that precious messages may be confused due to the title.

If there’s a single thing exactly opposite to the message it would be the word ‘hate’, which was mentioned in detail in the intro to the track released on January 18th. We deeply hope that the original message of the song is delivered without scarring anyone, as all love conquers all in the world without hate.

We will continue our teaser campaign and other promotional activities with the changed title, starting today.

Thanks.

It is worth remembering that the new album by UI will be released later this year, making it the soloist’s first comeback with an album in two years, as the most recent release was made in 2021, with the mini-album “Pieces”, composed of unreleased songs from her previous albums. .

As for Vfrom BTS, the idol is completing mandatory military enlistment in South Korea. The idol began serving in the armed forces alongside the group’s leader, RMon December 11, when they appeared together at the Nonsan Army Training Center.
