In an interview with Variety during the Emmy ceremony, Sam Claflin talked about The Hunger Games and said he was “too old” to return to the role of Finnick. However, the actor gave an idea for the project, if it actually happens.
I don’t know if there’s room for me to come back as Finnick, I’m too old. But I’ve heard rumors that people are asking for a movie about his childhood, all I’m going to say is that I would be totally interested in playing maybe his father.”
