Find out how Min Yoon-gi, better known as Suga, became a Big Hit Entertainment trainee

The beginning
The career of Suga He started out in high school as a rapper, where he performed under the stage name Gloss. It didn’t take long for him to stand out, not only for his rapping skills, but also for his technical skills with music.
So much so that he soon became a music producer, being responsible for monitoring the recording processes of singles and albums by the group D-TOWN, which emerged in 2006, having Suga as one of the seven members. The training is no longer active.

Even if Suga was building a relevant name in the underground scene, the idol wanted to expand his skills and show his talent to more people. For this reason, he decided to participate in a Big Hit Entertainment audition.
The rapper found out about the event when he found a flyer promoting a rap competition called “Hit It” — and he wasted no time! Suga He arrived at the reported location wearing a shirt with blue and green stripes, mohawk hair and earrings in both ears, and of course, with sharp diction to do his rap that told how much he fought to achieve his dreams. As a result, Suga came in 2nd place in the competition. The position was enough for, in 2010, when he was just 18 years old, to join Big Hit Entertainment as a producer/trainee.
