Information about the enlistment was confirmed by Cube Entertainment through a statement posted on social media.
This Friday, 01, Cube Entertainment announced that hongseokfrom PENTAGON, will step away from the group’s promotional actions as he will begin his period of mandatory military service in South Korea.
In the announcement, the company also disclosed the date that hongseok will enlist: May 3, 2022. However, due to COVID-19, the place and time of your enlistment will not be open to fans. Check out the official publication!

The declaration has the following translation into Portuguese:

We would like to inform everyone about the enlistment of PENTAGON’s Hongseok.
Hongseok will join the army as an active soldier on May 3, 2022.

please note that hongseok is the third PENTAGON member to enlist. the first was Jinhothe oldest of the group, who was released in November 2021. In the same year, in February, the leader Hui enlisted, and to this day remains in service.
The group’s latest comeback came at the end of January with the 12th mini-album titled ‘IN:VITE U’ which marked the comeback of Jinho after completing the military enlistment.
