The watchmaker updates the cult DolceVita watch. The brand chose Jennifer Lawrence to represent elegance.
It’s called the Mini Dolce Vita and launched to great fanfare in New York in September. His story goes back in time. it is inspired by the rectangular watch created in 1927 by Longines. A model that would serve as the inspiration for the legendary Dolce Vita collection seventy years later. First reimagined in 2015, it returns this year in a very fashionable mini size, somewhere between vintage and relaxed chic.
Elegance above all else
Its discreet, slightly rounded steel case displays very feminine proportions. This new Dolce Vita line also features two dials: a rectangular Roman and a more retro circular Cosmo. Also notable among the new references is a very modern steel bracelet inspired by the cobblestones of the streets of Chelsea, New York, and gorgeous pastel dials with a case set with thirty-eight diamonds. Its advantage is a price that remains affordable for a luxury watch.

Muses
Cyclist Jane Richard or Olympic champion skiers Michaela Shiffrin and Melanie Maillard epitomize sporting heritage. Oscar-winning star Kate Winslet and actors Simon Baker and Reggie-Jean Page are ambassadors for dress watches. And since 2022, Jennifer Lawrence, the Oscar-winning actress and activist, embodies the Dolce Vita line. An ambassador chosen by Longines CEO Matthias Breschan “for her elegance that is both natural and endearing”.
Equality
Men’s watches are most often later adapted into women’s versions. Then we add some stones, colored dials or powdered bracelets. A rarity in watchmaking, the DolceVita was first designed for women and then made available for men. The house also sells to the first as much as to the second.
