Earlier this month, YG Entertainment announced that the members of BLACKPINK they had decided to renew contracts with the company for group activities, however, the renewal of individual contracts was still under negotiation.
This Friday, the 29th, the agency issued a new statement, announcing that Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé It is Lisa they decided not to renew with the company for their solo activities. In this way, YG will only be responsible for BLACKPINK’s commitments as a group, while each member’s solo career will be managed according to the artists’ individual plans.
