However, the crossover between the classic characters is something that is not lacking in the comics — there are even some really cute moments that make the friendship between them clear, such as the curious nickname between the Flash and Aquaman.

In the magazine “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom Special #1”, written by Tim Seeley, Scott Eaton, Joey Esposito, Ray-Anthony Height, Ethan Sacks It is Miguel Medoncawe discover that Arthur calls Barry “Speed-Reader”, or “fast reader” in free translation.

This is because, on the pages, the two, alongside Wonder Woman, try to defeat a group of rebels who are trying to end the heroes using a “metabomb” capable of removing all their powers after reprogramming their DNA, in addition to leaving all the rest of Earth’s population vulnerable.

As they fight the enemies, Aquaman addresses Flash saying “Speed-Reader, who am I punching here?”. The speech, despite the joke, reveals Arthur’s request that Barry be able to access and decode the mercenaries’ files, to discover their identities.

But does not stop there! The Flash also has a nickname for Aquaman. It is revealed in the pages of the comic “Aquaman and The Flash: Voidsong #3”, when the speedster calls the duo “The Flash and The Splash”.
