Ukrainian soldiers performed popular Christmas hits to remind the world about the war and the importance of supporting Ukraine.

The Ukrainian military performed iconic Christmas songs to remind the world of an all-out war in our country. UNITED24 reported this.

In particular, nine Ukrainian military songs were sung: Happy Xmas (War is over), Have Yourself and Merry Little Christmas, Let It Snow! Let it snow! Let it snow! and I’ll be home for Christmas.

It was noted that the cover versions, performed on bandura, flute, guitar, percussion and synthesizer, changed the lyrics reminding of the war and the importance of world support for Ukraine.

For example, in John Lennon’s song “Happy Xmas” the words “war is over” are heard but the military only added a “no” – “the war is not over.”

Or “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” – a song written on behalf of a soldier who served in World War II and sung by Frank Sinatra, stating “I’ll be home this Christmas. This phrase has now been replaced by “No I’m going home this Christmas.”

As for the video itself, it was shot in a dugout in the direction of Bakhmut, as well as against the backdrop of civilian objects destroyed by the Russian invaders.

Earlier it was reported that Masha Efrosinina told how she plans to celebrate Christmas.

Gosling released the Christmas clip from the Barbie movie
