DC’s newest release, ‘Aquaman 2: The Lost Kingdom’, made its long-awaited debut in theaters last Wednesday, 20
Since the recording of “Aquaman 2: The Lost Kingdom”, many fans have been wondering about the possible participation of other heroes from DC’s shared universe in the most recent production, which opened in theaters last Wednesday, the 20th.
The rumors became even stronger when in July last year the actor Jason Momoaresponsible for bringing Aquaman to life on the big screen, shared a photo alongside Ben Affleck, where we can see Batman’s interpreter on the big screen wearing an outfit very similar to the ones his character wears when he’s not in uniform. Remember!
Despite the sharing, there was never a confirmation that Affleck would have actually made a cameo appearance in the production. Furthermore, “Aquaman 2” has undergone several re-recordings since then, in which, of course, some scenes ended up being cut.
[CUIDADO COM SPOILERS!]
If, despite this, you still had hopes that the new film could feature at least some small mention of other DC heroes, such as the Justice League itself, of which Aquaman is a part, unfortunately you may be a little disappointed to discover that the film doesn’t even have a mention of them.
On the other hand, what we can notice during the plot are references to other very famous franchises, such as Harry Potter and its own competitor, the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
