Eurovision will take place in May 2024 in Malmo. The grand final will be held on Saturday 11 May.
Song contest organizers Eurovision 2024, which will take place next May in Malmö, Sweden, showed the layouts of the first stage. This was reported on the competition’s official website.
In particular, the stage in the shape of a cross is located in the middle of the auditorium, which means that the audience will be able to watch the performances of the participants from all sides. In addition, moving LED cubes, LED floors, video and stage technologies will be combined to create impressive effects in the arena.
Development was carried out by production designer Florian Wieder and lighting designer Fredrik Stormby.
“We are very proud to present our vision for the stage and lighting for the singing competition Eurovision 2024. We’ve never seen anything like this Eurovision, and this concept gives us endless possibilities to create a unique space and expression for both the competing artists and the opening numbers and intervals. Florian and Fredrik’s creation is simply amazing and it will be interesting to see the result!” said competition producer Ebba Adielsson.
At the same time, it became known when the draw will take place, which will determine the order of performance of the participants in the semi-finals. It starts on January 30 at 19:00 Central European Time.
As previously reported in the song competition Eurovision 2024 Representatives from 37 countries will participate.
