Childhood dream

In an interview with CNN Brasil in 2022, Luizinho revealed that, nowadays, he doesn’t follow Brazilian football much, however, whenever he is asked which team he supports, his answer is Corinthians.

The decision to give up football to pursue a singing career also happened in Brazil. “Whenever I was alone and homesick, I would listen to Korean songs on my MP3. One day, I went to a karaoke bar in São Paulo and someone told me that I couldn’t sing. That sentence hurt me and for some reason it bothered me even more than if someone had said I didn’t know how to play football. The moment I felt this wave of emotion, I knew I wanted to sing, so that was the beginning of my singing career,” WOODZ told CNN Brasil.

Seung Youn made his debut as a k-pop idol in 2014, in the group UNIQ, from Yuehua Entertainment, where he was called Luisy. His long-awaited debut as a soloist took place in 2016, with the single “Recipe”. Remember!

In 2018, the star decided to change his stage name and, from then on, he became known as WOODZ. In 2019, she participated in the survival program Produce X 101, where she had the opportunity to debut again, this time in the boy group X1, where she remained until January 2020.
