Tests of G-Dragon’s hair and nail samples were carried out by the National Institute of Forensic Science
The drug abuse charge related to G-Dragon, leader of BIGBANG gained another page. This time, tests for the use of illicit substances carried out on samples of the idol’s hair and nails gave a negative result, as reported by the Koreaboo and Soompi portals.
Detailed analysis of hair and nail samples from G-Dragon carried out by the National Institute of Forensic Science indicate that during at least the last 10 months, the idol did not use any illicit substance. Negative results forwarded to the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency Narcotics Unit.

In early November, the South Korean portal News1 published an exclusive report to report that G-Dragon had been detained by the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency on charges of drug abuse.
On the 6th of the same month, G-Dragon voluntarily reported to the Narcotics Unit of the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency, where he was interrogated for approximately four hours, underwent an initial reagent test that returned a negative result for the presence of drugs, and had urine and hair samples collected which were analyzed by the National Forensic Service.
After the interrogation, G-Dragon spoke to the local press, revealing that he is willing to cooperate with the police investigation, in addition to denying all accusations.
I myself do not yet know the details, but what I want is for the investigating agency to promptly release the results of the detailed examination as soon as possible. I hope you’re not too worried. I hope you believe me and wait [os resultados]”, said the idol.
