This Thursday, the 16th, the mayor of the city of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paesconfirmed that the singer Taylor Swift will receive a tribute projected on Christ the Redeemer to celebrate his arrival in Brazil, and the beginning of “The Eras Tour” in Rio de Janeiro.
“We will have Taylor Swift duly honored, her arrival in Rio de Janeiro. Welcome, Taylor Swift. And may you be happy, with the Swifties”, said the politician.
It is worth remembering that the campaign to hold the tribute began through the fans themselves on social media. The request reached the mayor, who spoke with those responsible for the Sanctuary of Christ the Redeemer, before being approved. The tribute is scheduled to take place tonight.
Taylor there are six shows scheduled in Brazil, three in Rio de Janeiro, on the 17th, 18th and 19th, at the Nilton Santos stadium, Engenhão, and the other three in São Paulo, on the 24th, 25th and 26th of November, at Allianz Parque , Arena Palmeiras.
