Garfield first appeared in a 1978 comic. In 2004, a film adaptation was released, combining animation and live action. The second part was published in 2006.
Sony Pictures Entertainment released the first trailer for the animated film Garfield.
The movie tells about a ginger cat who loves lasagna and hates Mondays. Judging by the trailer, we learn how the cat found his owner and father Vic, who roams the world like a railroad cat.
It is known that the main character will be voiced by actor Chris Pratt. His dubbing colleagues included Samuel L. Jackson, Nicholas Gault, Brett Goldstein and Anna Waddingham. The film is directed by Mark Dindal.
The film is scheduled to release on May 24, 2024.
