2NE1 is considered, to this day, as one of the biggest groups ever launched in the K-pop industry. The girl group, made up of CL, Sandara Park, Minzy It is Park Bomwas formed by YG Entertainment in May 2009, debuting with the track “Fire”.
The formation, unfortunately, had its disbandment announced in November 2016, by decision of the company. His last release was made in January 2017, with the farewell track “Goodbye”. Remember!
However, in 2022, the group held a small surprise reunion when they appeared together during the performance of CL at the Coachella music festival, which took place in the United States, marking the girl group’s first performance in its complete lineup since the announcement of their separation.
Since then, many fans have been wondering whether, in the future, the four members plan to hold an official reunion — and the answer to this question emerged during a guest appearance. Sandarain the eighth episode of BamHouse, a program presented by Bamboomby GOT7.
In this ocasion, Bamboom recalled the fact that, despite the disbandment, the members still maintain their fandom name as BlackJack, where Dara states that they decide to continue with the name, because “We split up, but the fact that we are 2NE1 doesn’t change”.
When questioning Sandara regarding a possible return of 2NE1, the GOT7 member received the following response:
“I would like to and there are many suggestions about this, but it is not being done yet,” said Dara sincerely.
