Streaming service Hulu has renewed the animated series Futurama for two more seasons. It is reported by different types.
The beloved adult animated series will return to screens for the second time since its launch in 1999. Hulu picked up the series for 20 episodes in February 2022, with the first ten airing in July. The premiere date for the second ten-episode season has yet to be announced, but is expected to debut in 2024.
“After a brief ten-year hiatus Futurama successfully crawled out of the cryogenic tube, leaving behind the original cast and satirical spirit. There’s something for everyone in the ten all-new episodes of Season 11. New viewers will get to know the series, and longtime fans will get to know the epic love story of Fry and Leela, the magical box contents of Nibbler, the evil robot Santa and the whereabouts of tadpoles Keefe and Amy. Meanwhile, there’s a new pandemic in town, and the crew explores the future of vaccines, bitcoin, cancel culture and streaming television,” reads the official description of the new episodes.
It was previously reported that the Fox channel released an episode of the animated series Family Guy, in which Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were critically mocked.
