BTS’ Jungkook ties PSY’s Billboard record

With his new partnership with The Kid Laroi, Jungkook equals PSY on new record

A new record for Jungkook! The single “Too Much”, by The Kid LAROIwhich features the collaboration of BTS mankae and rapper Central Cee debuted at number 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It is worth remembering that this ranking classifies the most popular songs in the USA.

Remember the video for “Too Much”:

“Too Much” became the fifth track on Jungkookas a solo artist, to achieve a position on the Hot 100. With this feat, the idol equaled the record for PSY, of more songs that entered the ranking as a Korean soloist. The BTS member had already charted five tracks on the chart, including “7 Fates:CHAKHO”, “Stay Alive”, “Left and Right”, “Seven” and his newest hit, “3D”.

The single from The Kid LAROI it also debuted at number one on the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart and at number 25 on the Pop Airplay ranking, which measures weekly plays on major US radio stations.

Because of this, Jungkook He once again entered the Artist 100 ranking, at position 71. He ended up becoming the first soloist to spend 11 weeks on that chart.
