On October 15, the artistic director of Nina Ricci’s house, Harris Reed, celebrated his wedding in London. He said yes to entrepreneur Eitan Sennerman-Link with a groom’s outfit he made himself.
Nina Ricci’s artistic director Harris Reed said yes to Spatial Innovation Lab incubator founder Eitan Sennerman-Link. The marriage proposal, which took place a year and a half ago, already announced a very romantic ceremony, especially with the presentation of the “you and me” engagement ring. Like this vintage piece of jewelry, the designer drew inspiration from the 1920s with his groom’s outfit, which he made himself. Between the feminine and the masculine, Harris Reid has created a trouser collection with an open leg and a wrap-around open back. This minimalist and refined collection, made of white silk, contrasts with the extravagant style in which it is usually depicted. Her husband Eitan chose a gray suit consisting of a double-breasted jacket and gray pleated trousers.
“The fantasy they told me I’ll never realize”
If the newlyweds are already planning to continue the celebrations next summer in Italy, this intimate ceremony was no less important for Harris Reed. At City Hall and surrounded by his loved ones, the designer told the British publication Vogue: that she wanted to live the “real” experience of marriage, a moment she never thought she would experience. Between tradition and romance, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Sennerman then made their way in a vintage Rolls-Royce to the five-star Claridge’s Hotel, the reception venue. A moment that “really felt like a scene from a movie,” he described. And to cheer up. “It was the fantasy I was told I would never realize.”
