Ex-(G)I-DLE Soojin confirms solo debut

She’s finally coming back! In the early hours of this Monday, the 16th, the South Korean portal News1 reported that Soojinformer member of the girl group (G)I-DLE, will be returning to the music industry, and will make her solo debut later this month after signing a contract with the company BRD Communications.

The information about the artist’s solo debut and her contract with the new company was confirmed by the agency itself, which in a statement said: “We plan to release her album [de estreia solo] still this year”.

please note that Soojinwho had been in (G)I-DLE since its formation in 2018, ended up leaving the group in 2021 after the idol was involved in rumors about having bullied a former classmate during her school days.

The case was taken to court and, in 2022, Soojin officially left Cube Entertainment, before the process was finalized. In the same year, the star was acquitted of the allegations by the School Violence Committee that was investigating the case at the time.

“However, Ms. Seo has never used any violence against or extorted money or property from her classmates, and therefore, she is unable to acknowledge such allegations or offer apologies for the allegations. After being cleared, Soojin decided not to pursue the case against the former classmate responsible for accusing her.
