A strong symbol in these Kate Middleton earrings

The Prince and Princess of Wales were at Factory Works in Birmingham on World Mental Health Day on October 10. The princess chose to wear special earrings that day to show her commitment to mental health.

On October 10, the Prince and Princess of Wales made a remarkable entrance to the Factory Works premises in Birmingham. It was important that the spouses were present to participate in the self-help workshops organized by the students on this World Mental Health Day. Kate Middleton took to the stage where she gave a speech calling on people to come together to “build a brighter, more resilient future”.

The mother of Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte showed her dedication by wearing a yellow jacket to represent a cause close to her heart. But the audience also noticed her earrings. Sarah Renton, coach of Maindenheard Rugby Club, gave it to the couple last June. The latter actually created the model in memory of his daughter, Isobel Phipps, who committed suicide at the age of 17 in April. The two women had met while training for his rugby team. The Princess of Wales was particularly affected by the sadness of this woman whom she embraced. A gesture that marked Sarah Renton. “He was very sympathetic. He hugged me.”

Young Isobel’s entire family celebrated the event, and her cousin Sophie McGowan, creator of the EarSass brand, produced the Issy Star model worn by Kate Middleton. Proceeds from any purchase of this model go to the mental health charity Brave Minds.
