“Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” will get a remastered version! In 4k, the animation restored by the Restoration and Preservation team of the Walt Disney Studios in collaboration with artists from Walt Disney Animation Studios arrives in the Disney+ catalog next Monday, the 16th, according to information released by Variety (via Omelete).
The animation was released in 1937 and is an adaptation of the short story of the same name written by the brothers Grimm. The film took just over four years to make and involved the work of around 300 artists, as explained by the Disney portal.

Being part of several generations, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” marked the history of Disney by being the studio’s first feature-length animation, as well as the first to be produced by Walt Disneythe founder of the studio that turns 100 years old in 2023.
Furthermore, it was the first American film to feature an official soundtrack, as revealed by WDW Magazine (via Screenrant).
