Everything you need to know about the 2023 VMAs

Tomorrow, the 12th, this year’s edition of the MTV Video Music Awards, popularly known as the VMAs, will take place in New Jersey, in the United States. The award, which is one of the most famous in the world of music, began in 1984, and is responsible for praising some of the main music videos released during the year.

Since its debut, the event has brought together big names in the industry, in addition to having produced iconic moments over the years. In 2023, the party also promises to be remarkable, and RECREIO will tell you everything you need to know about the VMA 2023!

Presenter

The singer Nicki Minaj will be responsible for leading the party for the second year in a row. Last year, the artist was also the presenter of the awards, where she shared the position with LL Cool J It is Jack Harlowin addition to being honored on the night with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

Performances

The VMA 2023 has a list of unmissable performances. So far, the stars who have confirmed performances are: Olivia Rodrigo, Stray Kids, Fall Out Boy, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Lil Wayne, Måneskin, Anitta, Karol G, Doja Cat, Demi Lovato, Kelsea Ballerini and Tomorrow X Together.

Nominees

This year, the singer Taylor Swift leads the number of nominations, with eight in total. Among the groups, BLACKPINK was the most nominated, appearing in four categories.
