Mostra’s fringe cinephile ignited the City of Doggers with a star-studded night at Arsenal this Saturday 2nd September.
One night in Venice. Italian brand Armani made a stop at Serenissima on September 2nd as part of a series of events called; One night only. In one evening, as its name suggests, designer Giorgio Armani gathered around seven hundred distinguished guests and other “friends” of the brand in honor of the 80th Mostra. The festivities include a parade of Armani Privé couture silhouettes, a cocktail party hosted by Mark Ronson and, of course, dozens of celebrities. Sophie Loren, Jessica Chastain, Kerry Washington… The guest list was enough to make the red carpet of the film festival pale.
Armani, Venetian at heart
Far from competing with Mostra’s banner, Giorgio Armani is a loyal fan of the event. Earlier in the day, he was even awarded the Golden Lion of Murano glass, which he received from the mayor of the city, Luigi Brunaro, during a visit to his yacht Maín, anchored in the bay. A mark of recognition that salutes the Milanese designer’s attachment to the city and the festival where his brand was first anchored more than thirty years ago. Bonds that failed to mention until late at night.
In the video, the magic was repeated again on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival.
