The spirit of the Nine-Tailed Fox was imprisoned in Sessho-seki, a stone that broke in Japan. Understand!
Kurama is one of the nine tailed beasts from the anime “Naruto”, released in 1999. Also known as the Nine Tails, it came to hate humanity after being used as a tool for war, where it was treated only as a monster.
After being sealed in Naruto Uzumaki, the plot presents the redemption of Kurama, which starts to use its powers to save the world after the young ninja shows respect for its existence.
However, the story of the Nine-Tailed Fox goes beyond that told through the manga, anime and game series. She is also part of history books and Japanese folklore, where she is described as Tamamo-no-Maea woman who was part of a great secret plan to assassinate the emperor Tobawho reigned between 1107 and 1123.
Real-life Nine-Tails Fox
After the death of Tamamo-no-Maethe spirit of the Nine-Tailed Fox was embedded in Sessho-seki, a rock that continuously released a poisonous gas that took the life of any living being that touched it.
Sessho-seki, also known as the stone of death, is located in the Tochigi Mountains, near Tokyo, Japan and on March 5, 2022, the rock broke, causing concern among local residents and netizens. Check out the image of Sessho-seki below!

Although it is said that the spirit was exorcised by a Buddhist monk, the breaking of the death stone gave rise to several theories among the Japanese population that believed that the entity that the rock imprisoned was resurrected after almost 1,000 years.
However, local media have reported that cracks appeared in Sessho-seki several years ago, possibly allowing rainwater to seep in, weakening its structure and causing it to split.
With 720 episodes divided into the anime “Naruto” and “Naruto Shippuden”, the adventures of Naruto Uzumaki are available through the Netflix streaming platform.
