LOONA’s Chuu will make solo debut in October

After rumors, the agency responsible for Chuu confirmed the idol’s solo debut for October

This Tuesday, the 29th, the ATRP confirmed that Chuu, from LOONA, will be making his solo debut in October. The confirmation came after some rumors about the idol preparing for the release of her first solo album.

please note that Chuu was removed from LOONA in November 2022 by BlockBerry Creative, the agency responsible for creating the girlgroup. According to the company, the reason for the idol’s departure from the lineup was her use of “violent language and misuse of power” (via SOOMPI) with the other staff members. Chuu denied the accusations through social networks, in addition to being defended by several entertainment professionals who have worked with her.

In December last year, the artist filed a lawsuit against the agency to point out the invalidity of her exclusive contract, and won the lawsuit on August 17th. She signed with ATRP in April of this year and since then has been carrying out various promotional activities about the new phase of her career.

this friction between Chuu and BlockBerry Creative was the beginning of LOONA’s dispute with the company. After the singer’s departure, the other members of the group also filed petitions to annul their exclusive contracts with the company. Currently, each artist has chosen the agency that will manage their careers and the future of the complete group has become uncertain.

LOONA was formed by BlockBerry Creative in 2018, with 12 members: Haseul, lived, yves, jinsoul, kim lip, Chuu, heejin, hyunjin, gowon, Choerry, Hyeju It is yeojin. The girls’ last comeback took place in November 2022, as the mini album “Flip That”. Check out the video for the title track:
