The new ‘Snow White’ movie is a totally different concept, and I totally disagree with it, and I know my dad and Walt would too. There’s no respect for what Disney did, what my dad did… I think he and Walt would be turning over in their graves.”
The animator added:
It’s a disgrace that Disney is trying to make something new out of something that was a huge success before… Their thoughts are so radical now. They change the stories, they change the thought process of the characters. They are inventing new things and I just don’t like any of it. I find it frankly a little offensive what they may have done with some of these classic films.”

Animation vs Live action
The changes from the live-action Snow White that have already been announced have not been well received by the public. This decision was made after Disney considered the term dwarf to be pejorative for people with dwarfism.
It is worth remembering that the studio only made this decision after the actor with dwarfism, Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones), criticizing the reinforcement of the stereotype of dwarfism in the production, which, according to him, would be like a step backwards.
Another controversy behind the new production are the comments made by Rachel Zegler. The actress chosen to bring the princess to life has already referred to the 1937 animation as an old-fashioned story, in addition to being irrelevant today. She also claimed that her character no longer believes in love and that she would hate to be kissed in her sleep.
