One of Nickelodeon’s biggest hits of the 2000s was the series “Zoey 101”. The production told the adventures of Zoey, interpreted by Jamie Lynn Spears, and their friends who studied at the Pacific Coast Academy boarding school. The series came to an end in 2008, and there are some versions as to why the series ended.
At first, fans believed that production came to an end because of the pregnancy of the actress who gives life to the protagonist. Jamie Lyn Spearswho is the younger sister of Britney Spearsgot pregnant at the end of 2007, aged 16.
However, according to the Screen Rant portal, “Zoey 101” ended because Nickelodeon decided to end the series. The network had already made the decision that the production did not need more episodes.
Rumors about her pregnancy Jamie being the reason for the end of the series became strong, since the two news, that the actress was expecting a baby and that the production had come to an end, were released at the same time, which made fans understand that one thing depended on the other.
